Melanoma

A melanoma is a tumor which develops in the cells that produce melanin. These cells can be found in the skin, as well as in the eyes and hair. When a melanoma develops in a mole (beauty spot), it needs to be treated quickly. This is one of the most malignant forms of cancer.
